Make a DIY cherry tree

Requirements:

  • 1 sheet of 250 grs paper for mold
  • 5 sheets of 80 grs paper in desired color of tree
  • Pencil
  • Eraser
  • Strong scissors
  • Prit marker
1. Make a mold

STEP 1: MAKE A MOLD

Fold 1 sheet of 240 grs paper in half and draw the tree you want to make.

2. Use template to draw tree

STEP 2: USE TEMPLATE TO DRAW TREE

Fold one section in half, and draw your tree using the template you made. Then cut it out and erase it clean so that you no longer see the pencil.

STEP 3: TAPE ALL THE TREES CLOSED

REPEAT THIS 4X. Ultimately you will have 20 trees.

STEP 3 : PAINT ALL TREES CLOSED

Apply glue to the marked parts (see green template: Top point and bottom middle point) and tape them closed. Repeat for all 20 trees.

STEP 4: STICK ALL PARTS TOGETHER

STEP 4 : PATCH ALL PARTS TOGETHER

Apply glue to the marked parts (see green template: under the top point and at the bottom), take a new, taped-up tree and place it exactly on top. Repeat for all 20 trees. NOTE: also glue on the last one. Below the top point and at the bottom.

STEP 5: THE MAGIC MOMENT!

Take the first and the last and carefully stick them together. Ta da! Your Christmas tree is ready! Happy holidays!
